The exhibition, held from September 13 to December 14, 2025, is set up in the rooms adjacent to those permanently housing major works by Renoir, Monet, C\u00e9zanne, Titian, D\u00fcrer, Van Dyck, Goya, Canova, Morandi, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This exhibition offers a profound reflection on how fashion and advertising have influenced not only the market but also Italian culture as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than three hundred works\u2014including posters, magazines, commercials, photographs, films, videos, promotional items, and even the legendary Fiorucci trading cards\u2014in an unprecedented journey through half a century of transformations in the collective imagination, offering a philological yet poetic perspective on the history of fashion and its communication. The exhibition explores how fashion and advertising, together, have navigated the economic, social, and cultural changes of our country, generating its myths, stereotypes, creativity, and desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Italy entered the post-World War II era timidly, observing the dynamism of American advertising but remaining anchored to a craft system: graphic designers, illustrators, and poster artists. Development was slowed by a rigid and pedagogical media system: Carosello, with its rules and censorship, delayed its engagement with the international avant-garde. But this very slowness strengthened a form of &#8220;advertising Italianness,&#8221; a visual and narrative taste that combines memory, irony, and storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The real turning point came with private television, color on TV, and the disintegration of unique models: advertising became a pop language, powerful, and invasive. It was a new form of visual art, and fashion was its most vibrant laboratory. La moda italiana smette di essere solo industria e comunica storie, personaggi, esperienze creando nuovi immaginari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le collaborazioni<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Museo nazionale Collezione Salce di Treviso, Centro Studi e Archivio della Comunicazione (CSAC) dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 di Parma, Civica Raccolta delle Stampe \u2018Achille Bertarelli\u2019 \u2013 Castello Sforzesco del Comune di Milano, Collezione Alessandro Bellenda \u2013 Galleria L\u2019IMAGE di Alassio (SV), Mirko Morini \u2013 Tortona4arte di Milano, Andrea Re \u2013 Milano Manifesti, Giuseppe Moraglia \u2013 L\u2019Afficherie a L\u2019Aquila, Marco Cicolini \u2013 Libreria Antiquaria Piemontese di Torino, oltre ad archivi aziendali e importanti collezioni private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per tutta la parte filmica la mostra si avvale del contributo dell\u2019Archivio Generale Audiovisivo della Pubblicit\u00e0 Italiana e del personale apporto del suo Fondatore e Direttore, lo storico della pubblicit\u00e0 Emmanuel Grossi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019Archivio Storico Barilla mette a disposizione alcuni spettacolari caroselli con Mina (1965-1970) con gli abiti disegnati da Piero Gherardi, costumista di Fellini, e da altri celebri couturier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La mostra e il catalogo<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 La mostra \u2013 a cura, come il precedente capitolo dedicato al periodo 1850-1950, di Dario Cimorelli, editore ed esperto di comunicazione, Eugenia Paulicelli, Professoressa ordinaria e fondatrice della scuola di specializzazione di \u201cFashion Studies\u201d presso il Graduate Center e il Queens College della City University di New York, Stefano Roffi, direttore scientifico della Fondazione Magnani-Rocca \u2013 \u00e8 accompagnata da un ricco catalogo edito da Dario Cimorelli Editore, dove, oltre alla riproduzione di tutte le opere esposte, vengono pubblicati saggi di Eugenia Paulicelli, Silvia Casagrande, Vanessa Gavioli, Emmanuel Grossi, Chiara Pompa, Emanuela Scarpellini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Fondazione Magnani-Rocca di Mamiano di Traversetolo custodisce una delle pi\u00f9 importanti collezioni d\u2019arte di origine privata al mondo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Villa dei Capolavori, sede della Fondazione a Mamiano di Traversetolo, espone infatti le opere appartenute a Luigi Magnani, con autori quali Monet, Renoir, C\u00e9zanne, Goya, Tiziano, D\u00fcrer, de Chirico, Rubens, Van Dyck, Filippo Lippi, Carpaccio, Burri, de Pisis, Tiepolo, Canova e la pi\u00f9 significativa raccolta di lavori di Morandi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immersa nella campagna di Parma, la Villa conserva il fascino senza tempo degli ospiti illustri che l\u2019hanno frequentata, con i suoi arredi di epoca neoclassica e impero, circondata dal Parco Romantico, un grande giardino all\u2019inglese con piante esotiche, alberi monumentali e gli splendidi pavoni bianchi e colorati. Il Parco storico \u00e8 stato recentemente restaurato grazie ai fondi del PNRR. Si tratta di un unicum per la sua eccezionale stratificazione: pochi luoghi in Italia possono vantare una testimonianza altrettanto completa dell\u2019evoluzione dell\u2019arte del giardino.
