Of flashes and escapes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>PAC Pavilion of Contemporary Art \u2013 MILAN<br>November 25, 2025 \u2013 February 8, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PAC continues its journey through the diverse expressions of international contemporary art by presenting <strong>India. Di flagliori e fughe (India. Of Flashes and Escapes), a large-scale group exhibition exploring contemporary artistic practices in India, born from the urgency of living together and capable of resonating beyond the country&#8217;s geographical and cultural boundaries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Curated by Raqs Media Collective and Ferran Barenblit<\/strong>, the exhibition is promoted by the City of Milan \u2013 Culture, produced by the PAC and Silvana Editoriale, and part of the Milan Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conceived as a heterogeneous mosaic of unstable and evolving scenarios, the exhibition captures the complexity and tensions of Indian and global society. A rich and at times contradictory universe, narrated through works ranging from drawing to painting, photography, video art, and performance. The works on display embody both the fragility and resilience of collective life, indicating the possibility of change as much as disruption, of rejection as much as fantasy, suggesting glimmers of hope, escape routes, and other possible futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to a partnership with Casa Degli Artisti, thirteen of the selected artists were invited to a residency in Milan, where they produced site-specific projects for the exhibition, in dialogue with the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the works on display were created with the collaboration of students of the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and NABA, New Academy of Fine Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Artists: Anju Acharya, Millo Ankha, Pinak Banik, Kaur Chimuk, Tenzin Gyurmey Dorjee, GABAA, Malik Irtiza, Shefalee Jain, Ranjeeta Kumari, Uzma Mohsin, Maksud Ali Mondal, Jithinlal N R, Renuka Rajiv, Smita Urmila Rajmane, Kaushal Sapre, Niroj Satpathy, Moonis Ahmad Shah, Ritika Sharma, Mohit Shelare, Gagan Singh, Sumakshi Singh, Aarti Sunder, Suvani Suri, Alina Tiphagne, Gopa Trivedi, Aasma Tulika, Panjeri Artists&#8217; Union, Gyanwant Yadav<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PAC Pavilion of Contemporary Art \u2013 MILANNovember 25, 2025 \u2013 February 8, 2026 The PAC continues its journey through the diverse expressions of international contemporary art by presenting India.
