On the occasion of the centenary of the relocation of Giovanni Pisano’s pulpit to the Cathedral (1926), the exhibition illustrates how the figure of one of the greatest sculptors of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries has been passed down through the centuries. Casts, paintings, sculptures, engravings, photographs, and drawings contribute to illuminating the work of artists, scholars, and visitors.
